As you may have heard in the media, a company has applied for planning permission, to knock down three family houses in Southampton Rd and build yet another block of 52 unwanted retirement apartments. The Lymington society has organised a Petition on Change.org urging the NFDC to refuse this application and we would be grateful if you could sign this petition for us; the link to do this is attached here: Sign This Petition Please. It would also be very helpful if you could send this link to your friends to ask them to sign the Petition as well. We would also be obliged if you could log on to the District Council planning website at this link here and register your objection to this application. If this link does not work please login here and search for application number 26/10940 We also attach a copy of a press release that we put out expressing our opposition to this application which you may find useful when you register your objection to this application. LymSoc Social Programme Finally, please make a date to hear about the exciting plans to develop the Solent Maritime Hub and Youth Facility at the old Drill Hall in Bath Road.
